Online Health Forums: Key messages for people living with or affected by breast cancer

This information sheet is designed for people living with, or affected by, breast cancer who are thinking about joining an online health forum, but are unsure what forums can offer them.

This information sheet tells you about the types of support offered in breast cancer online forums, gives advice about choosing the right forum for you, how to stay safe online, and describes some of the negative aspects of forums.

The information sheet is based on research findings and was developed by the University of Sheffield's 'A Space for Sharing' research team, in partnership with Breast Cancer Care.
